The HHV ATEĀ® Rifle, proudly made in Sweetwater, Texas, is the only rifle rated helmet that not only stops rifle threats (including 5.56 M855 Green Tip), but keeps backface deformation to an acceptable level. Combat and police casualty data show that prioritizing frontal skull protection in helmets can dramatically reduce fatalities by up to 50%. The helmet shell (1.6lbs) is made up of UHMWPE and aramid fibers, while the up-armor is made of Silicon Carbide. The helmet utilizes our Micro Lattice Pads to maximize comfort and further decrease backface deformation.
